Sharon SchofieldWhat is Counselling?

Counselling is an opportunity to explore difficulties that you are experiencing in a confidential environment. You can talk openly without fear of rejection, criticism or blame, and in a way that is not always possible with those who are closest to you.

Working with you, your counsellor will examine in detail the feelings, behaviour or situations which are causing you concern. Your counsellor may encourage you to look beyond your immediate problems and whilst counsellors do not offer advice, they will be supportive as you consider options and make your own choices and decisions.

Why might you come for counselling:

  • Major Life Changes
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Family & Relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Depression Stress
  • Bereavement & Loss
  • Childhood Trauma
