What is Counselling?
Counselling is often called 'talking therapy'. Sessions provide an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of yourself and why you think, feel and behave the way you do. The counsellor will help you to explore the more unconscious aspects of this understanding and to identify small changes, which can have a huge impact on the rest of your life. Each session will be as unique as you are and the issues being addressed will determine the number of sessions required.
Who benefits from counselling?
Almost everyone can benefit from having time to talk things through with someone who will accept them unconditionally as a unique and valuable individual with true empathy and without judgment. It is a perfect time for objective reflection and can help with a wide range of issues including the following:
- Depression
- Bereavment
- Fear and Anxiety
- Stress
- Relationship Issues
- Family Conflict
- Low Self Esteem
- Lack of Confidence
- Difficult Life Changes
- Loss of motivation
So if you are feeling:
- Unsure
- Unhappy
- Unable to Cope
with any aspect of your life?
Take that first important step in a positive direction
