Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and manual treatment focusing on the structural integrity
of the body. That is, the skeleton, but also the muscles, tendons, ligaments and other soft tissues that are intimately related;
pain so often being caused by the protective reaction of a muscle to misalignment and restriction in the small facet joints
of the spine or to the minor displacement of other joints in the upper and lower limbs.
Originally from Knaresborough, Sebastian graduated from the British School of Osteopathy, widely regarded as the premier osteopathic training establishment in the
world. He received a Bachelor of Osteopathy degree with honours and was also
awarded the coveted and highly sought after golden patella hammer award by his peers.
Sebastian has also been made a full member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA) as well as the Osteopathic
Sports Care Association (OSCA) and is state-registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) a body concerned with the
continued professional development (CPD) of practitioners.
A
firm advocate of CPD Sebastian regularly attends courses to update his skills and keep abreast of current developments in
the world of Osteopathy.
