EFT Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Therapy is a relatively new therapeutic intervention, based upon Chinese acupuncture, which is over 2000 years old. Whilst traditional acupuncture uses needles this simple technique involves tapping with the fingers on various meridian points located throughout the body.
Based on the belief that negative emotions and illnesses are caused by a blockage or a disruption in the body's energy system. EFT works to restore this disruption and allow the energy to once again flow freely. Once the energy system is returned to balance then a person's problem is effectively resolved.
The procedure is extremely simple and you can use it on yourself anytime and anywhere. (Deep rooted issues usually need the help of a qualified practitioner however.)
